When we started building SafiTrack, the premise was simple: field sales teams needed a better way to log what was happening out there and give managers visibility into it. The data problem was the first problem to solve.

But data without insight is just storage. And after three years of watching how teams actually use SafiTrack, it became clear that the most valuable thing we could build next wasn't more data collection. It was something that made sense of the data that was already there.

Today we're launching Intelligence Hub.

What Intelligence Hub is

Intelligence Hub is a new layer of AI that sits across all your SafiTrack data (visits, pipeline, notes, call logs, route history) and surfaces the things that matter, when they matter, without you having to go looking for them.

It's built around three capabilities that work together.

Opportunity detection

Intelligence Hub monitors your account portfolio continuously and surfaces opportunities that might otherwise slip through the cracks. Accounts that haven't been visited in longer than their target cadence. Deals that have been sitting in the same pipeline stage for twice their historical average. Customers whose order frequency has dropped but who haven't flagged any dissatisfaction. These signals existed before. They just required someone to go looking for them. Now they come to you.

Visit summaries and next-step suggestions

After every visit, the AI generates a structured summary from your notes and any call recordings linked to the visit. Unlike generic summarisation, these summaries are specifically structured around what a field rep needs: what was discussed, what the customer's situation is, what was committed to, and what the suggested next action is.

The suggested next actions are where we've spent the most time. We've trained the model on patterns from thousands of successful field sales interactions to understand what "good next steps" look like for different types of visits. Renewal conversations, first meetings, technical walkthroughs. Early beta users are accepting about 60% of suggestions as-is, with most of the rest being accepted with minor edits.

Rep coaching insights

This one is sensitive to get right, and we know it. Reps don't want to feel surveilled, and managers don't want a tool that creates anxiety rather than performance.

The coaching layer is designed around a specific framing: not "here's what you did wrong" but "here's what top performers do differently, and here's how your patterns compare." It surfaces things like: accounts where visit frequency is lower than your peer average, deals where time-to-advance is slower than your own historical baseline, and follow-up response times compared to the team. The goal is self-directed improvement, not surveillance.

Managers can see team-level aggregate patterns. Individual rep data is visible to the rep and, depending on your settings, their direct manager. We've made the privacy settings explicit and configurable because we believe the tool only works if reps actually trust it.

How we built it

Intelligence Hub runs on a combination of purpose-built models and general-purpose LLMs, depending on the task. The opportunity detection and pattern analysis runs on fine-tuned models trained on SafiTrack's own anonymised dataset. Because the signal patterns in field sales data are specific enough that general models don't perform well without that domain grounding.

The summarisation and coaching insight generation uses a larger general model with careful prompt engineering and output validation. We've been running this in shadow mode against our own internal usage and with a group of beta customers for the past four months.

On data privacy Intelligence Hub processes your data entirely within your SafiTrack workspace. We do not use customer data to train our models. Anonymised, aggregate patterns are used to improve the models, but individual customer data never leaves your tenant. This is non-negotiable for us.

What's available today and what's coming

Today's release includes opportunity detection and visit summaries with next-step suggestions. These are available on all SafiTrack plans, with usage limits that scale by plan tier.

The rep coaching insights are currently in beta with a limited group of customers. We're being deliberate about the rollout because the human dynamics of this feature require more care than a typical product launch. If you're interested in the beta, there's a waitlist form in the product.

Later this year, we're planning to extend Intelligence Hub to conversational queries. You'll be able to ask your CRM questions in plain language and get answers drawn from your actual data. We'll have more to share on that when we're closer.

We're genuinely excited about this one. It's the first time SafiTrack has felt less like a system of record and more like something that actively helps you do your job better. We think that's the right direction for where CRM should go.
